Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before your visit — from insurance and scheduling to what to expect at your first appointment.

New Patients & Appointments

Yes! We warmly welcome new patients of all ages. You can call us at (202) 627-2380 or use our contact form to schedule your first appointment. We'll do our best to get you in as quickly as possible.

Please bring a valid photo ID, your insurance card (if applicable), and any relevant medical or dental records if you have them. Arriving 10–15 minutes early to complete new patient paperwork is also helpful. If you have dental X-rays from a previous provider, we can often accept those to avoid repeat imaging.

You can reach us by phone at (202) 627-2380 during office hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM), or submit an inquiry through our Contact page. We'll confirm your appointment and send any necessary paperwork ahead of time.

Yes, we see patients of all ages, including children. We believe in starting good dental habits early and make every effort to ensure younger patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visit.

We are open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Saturday appointments are available on a limited basis — please call to inquire. For dental emergencies outside of office hours, call our after-hours line at (202) 515-8848.

Insurance & Payment

We accept most major insurance plans, including Aetna, Humana, GEHA, Delta Dental, Guardian, Careington Platinum, Sun Life, BCBS, Cigna, United Healthcare, and most Medicaid plans including AmeriHealth. If you don't see your plan listed, call us — we may still be able to work with your coverage.

Yes, we accept most Medicaid plans, including AmeriHealth. We are committed to making quality dental care accessible to all members of our community, regardless of insurance status.

No insurance? No problem. We offer several private pay and financing options to make care affordable. These include CareCredit, Happen financing, and our own in-house payment plan. Ask our office team about which option works best for your situation.

Our in-house plan is a membership-style option for patients without insurance. It covers preventative care and provides discounts on other treatments for a flat annual or monthly fee. Contact our office for current plan details and pricing.

Absolutely. We encourage patients to call us ahead of their visit so we can verify your coverage and give you a clear picture of what to expect cost-wise. Reach us at (202) 627-2380.
